Pioneering Web3 Strategy & Risk

Allez Labs is a research Lab specializing in strategy, analytics and risk management, founded by three DeFi industry veterans — Alex Bertomeu-Gilles, Matt Cole and Khaled Grira. With a collective background in managing risk for major DeFi protocols and extensive experience in DeFi quantitative research and data science since 2019, Allez Labs is committed to driving innovation and transparency in the decentralized finance ecosystem.

Our Services

At Allez Labs, we offer two primary services:

1. Consulting and Services: We provide strategic consulting on GTM, market research, economic design, tokenomics, and analytics as well as expert risk management for DeFi protocols. Our team’s extensive experience ensures that we can offer tailored solutions to optimize your protocol’s strategic positioning and risks.

2. Software development: We develop APIs, data pipelines, dashboards and custom tools for our clients to consume blockchain data for any EVM and SVM chains.

Our Team

• Alex: At Allez Labs, Alex focuses on building out risk frameworks and addressing qualitative risks in DeFi. Prior to Allez Labs, she lead risk for the Aave Genesis team, developing the first DeFi Risk Management Framework, helping to establishing Aave as an industry leader. She also has experience at Mangrove, where she contributed to GTM strategies, tokenomics, and growth.
• Khaled: At Allez Labs, Khaled focuses on quantitative research, software development, and risk modeling. Previously, he was a senior analyst at Block Analitica and a quantitative researcher at Aave Companies, where he developed innovative tools including simulation software, risk evaluation frameworks, and the GHO stability module. Khaled’s expertise in designing sophisticated models and technical solutions makes him instrumental in driving Allez Labs’ strategic initiatives.
• Matt: At Allez Labs, Matt works on data engineering, analytics, and risk modeling. Previously Matt led data science initiatives at Avara Labs, building robust databases and risk monitoring/forecasting systems. Prior to crypto he developed ML models in tech and built collateral modeling frameworks in TradFi.
